PRAYERS FOR SPIRITUAL ADVENTURERS

Throughout the Ages, Enlightened Beings have given prayers to spiritual seekers. Their prayers are not only empowered by the meanings and essences of the words and phrases, but also their tones and rhythms resonate with energy vibrations of the cosmic web of Light. These prayers attune the physical world including our bodies to the higher vibration of the Light. Through these and other spiritual practices our bodies are transmuting and evolving to be able to hold increasing Light. The following prayers have been edited for inclusive language.

Mantra of Unification

The children of humanity are one

and I am one with them.

I seek to love, not hate:

I seek to serve and not exact due service:

I seek to heal, not hurt.

Let pain bring due reward

of light and love.

Let the soul control the outer form,

And life, and all events.

And bring to light the love

That underlies the happenings of the time.

Let vision come and insight.

Let the future stand revealed.

Let inner union demonstrate and

outer cleavages be gone.

Let love prevail.

Let all people love.

Mantra of World Servers

May the power of the One Life

Pour through the group

Of all true servers.

May the love of the One Soul

Characterize the lives

Of all who seek to aid the Great Ones.

May we fulfill our part in the One Work

Through self-forgetfulness,

Harmlessness, and right speech.

Affirmation of the Disciple

I am a point of light

within the greater Light.

I am a strand of loving energy

within the stream of Love Divine.

I am a point of sacrificial Fire

within the fiery Will of God.

And thus I stand.

I am a way by which others may achieve.

I am a source of strength,

enabling them to stand.

I am a beam of light,

shining upon their way.

And thus I stand.

And standing thus, revolve

And tread this way,

the ways of humanity.

And know the ways of God.

And thus I stand.

Invocation of Light

I invoke the Light of God within.

I am a clear and perfect channel.

Light is my guide.

The Lord’s Prayer

(A translation from the Aramaic, Jesus’ native tongue.)

Our Father who is everywhere,

Let Your name be set apart.

Let Your kingdom come.

Let Your will be done,

as in heaven, so on Earth.

Give us bread for our needs

from day to day.

And forgive our offenses,

As we have forgiven our offenders.

And do not let us enter into temptation,

But deliver us from error.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power,

The song and the praise,

From age to age.

Soul Mantra

I am the Soul

And also Love am I.

Above all else,

I am both Will and Fixed Design.

My Will is now to lift

The lower self into the Light Divine.

That Light am I.

Therefore I must descend to where the Lower self awaits,

Awaits my coming.

That which desires to lift

And that which cries for lifting

Are now at One.

Such is my Will.

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light

within the Mind of God,

Let Light stream forth into human minds.

Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love

within the Heart of God,

Let love stream forth into human hearts.

May the Coming One return to Earth.

From the center

where the Will of God is known,

Let purpose guide all little human wills –

The purpose, which the Masters

know and serve.

From the center,

which we call the human race,

Let the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power

restore the Plan on Earth.

Lead us, O Lord,

from darkness to Light, 

from the unreal to the Real, 

from death to Immortality, 

from chaos to Beauty, 

from the individual to the Universal,

 from the many cycles to the One Life, 

from outer manifestation to the Sacred Space.
