I am very happy to partner with Laurie "Story" Vela and New Thought Families to provide monthly intergenerational and interfaith PLAYSHOPS to enjoy and inspire "kids" of all ages! Saturday Playshops are held in Jackson at the Motherlode Holistic Connection Community Wellness Center from 2:30 - 5 p.m. Includes Singing, Music, Crafts, Snacks, Inspirational Stories, Games, Prayer, and Support in a Circle of Love.

Laurie "Story" Vela, M. A. Along with a master of arts degree in Education and curriculum
design, Laurie not only brings talents as a gifted performer, but also spiritual insights of a modern day mystic. She is a folk singer and prolific songwriter and has penned
and produced
hundreds of children's, folk and New Thought songs. Creating and
developing ChildSing Song Circles for preschoolers and their caregivers, she has most recently produced dozens of New Thought songs especially
for children, teens and families and often performs them with her son
Jeremiah, age 10.
Laurie is hailed as the Mother Goose Rapper. An Author/Illustrator and BookTelling
Performer with Laurie's Stories, her interactive shows celebrate
reading, English language, and creativity for families and youth Pre-K
through 8th grades.
