What are interfaith ministries? By "interfaith" ministries, we mean a way of providing spiritual care that is trans-religious ("trans" is a prefix meaning across or beyond). This includes honoring all faith traditions as a step on the transformational path to wholeness and includes psycho-spiritual, eco-spiritual, and transpersonal approaches.
Sophia's Well of Wisdom is a charter of the Light of Christ Community Church, which reflects the Esoteric Christian tradition. As such, we are committed to an inclusive, trans-religious, cross cultural, and universal way of being in community with others. Several stories reported in New Testament scripture imply that this was Yeshua's (Jesus) approach in dealing with others. Therefore, we make every effort to service and leadership that respects individual spiritual journeys and draws from multiple cultural, religious, spiritual, and scientific backgrounds.
Sophia's Well of Wisdom is dedicated to creating safe and sacred opportunities for spiritual growth and development for individuals, families, and groups. As such, we are partners with New Thought Families, which has an intergenerational focus on ministry to children of all ages. Through participating in monthly "Playshops" and activities that are both prayerful and playful, we increase our potential for spiritual well-being.
